Body Image
Body image is the subjective individual perception and opinion we have about size, shape and any other aspects associated with our appearance. Body image is nothing simple! It is very complex and multifaceted. It consists of all the personal relationship we have with our body, it includes all the perceptions, beliefs, thoughts, feelings and actions, which refer to our physical appearance. When we do not like our body, when we are obsessed with its negative aspects, when our dissatisfaction stands in the way of our social and professional life, then it causes additional stress and sadness.
Our aim is that you reconsider the image you have of your physical appearance and gradually establish a new renewed and very personal relationship with your body via exchange of information, discussion, exchange of experiences and feelings. We achieve this via hands-on informative seminars, nutrition counseling and counseling. Together we will explore the anxieties, pressures and stress that the “musts” and standards of each era have imposed on us. Our ultimate goal is to help you understand and accept yourself and your body, and to boost your self-esteem.
